Relay Your calls, handled.

Terms of service

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

These terms are an agreement between you and [RELAY OPERATOR] (“Relay”, “we”, “us”) for the Relay app and service. By creating an account or using Relay you agree to them.

What Relay is

Relay is an AI-powered calling assistant. You describe an everyday phone task — an appointment, a reservation, a return, a billing question — and Relay’s AI assistant places a real phone call on your behalf, navigates phone menus, waits on hold, speaks with the people who answer, and reports back with an outcome and, when enabled, a transcript.

Relay’s assistant acts on your instructions but speaks for itself: it never claims to be you, and if asked whether it is an AI, it says so.

Who can use Relay

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter this agreement. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure.

Your responsibilities

You direct Relay’s calls, so you agree to use it only for lawful, good-faith tasks. In particular, you will not use Relay to:

Call recording and related features are configurable; if you enable them, you are responsible for complying with the recording and consent laws that apply to you and the people being called.

We may decline, interrupt, or refuse calls and may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Credits and subscriptions

Relay calls consume credits. Credits can be included with a plan or purchased as one-time packs; Relay Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription that includes a monthly credit allotment.

All purchases are processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew and are cancelled through your Apple account settings; Apple’s refund process applies. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and completed calls consume a credit whether or not the business on the other end agreed to what you asked. Failed calls (no answer, busy) do not consume credits.

What Relay does not promise

Relay places real calls into a messy world: businesses close, lines go unanswered, hold queues run long, and people say no. We work to complete your tasks but cannot guarantee any particular outcome, and you should verify important results (times, amounts, confirmation numbers) in the call summary. Relay is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [RELAY OPERATOR] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of Relay. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Relay in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Your content

You own what you provide to Relay (briefs, preferences) and the call results Relay produces for you. You grant us the license needed to operate the service — to process your briefs, conduct calls, and store results for you. See the privacy policy for how information is handled.

Termination

You can stop using Relay and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service or others; unused purchased credits on a terminated-for-cause account are forfeited except where the law says otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms as Relay evolves. Material changes will be surfaced in the app with a new effective date; continuing to use Relay after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
